1. Check all around your home and look for signs of termites, ants, and rodents, and take appropriate measures to control them

2. Look around your property and make sure there is no standing water to help prevent mosquito breeding

3. Check your pipes, faucets, and appliances for leaks and repair any issues immediately

4. Monitor your water usage to identify any unseen leaks in the plumbing system

5. Maintain your pool’s chemical balance and that all equipment is in good working condition

6. Make sure pool safety barriers and alarms are present and working to prevent accidents

7. Look at the exterior of your home for damage and areas needing repair, such as siding, paint, and foundation

8. Hurricane Preparation: Look to secure loose objects in the yard that could become projectiles during a storm

9. Finish out inspecting the windows around your home focusing on all seals and repair as needed

10. Make sure windows and doors are secure to prevent break-ins and to keep out storm winds
